We’ve all been there, find a fire meme on the interwebs only to realize there are spelling and/or grammar errors that completely extinguish that fire feeling. How disappointing. I’m about to take you on a jolly little adventure. Come along with me here… This is a story of you and your friends.
Once upon a time there was you. You are friends with Them. Today is the day that you’re all going out for a day great of fun and sun at two. They’re going to take you out on their boat where you can wear the new boat shoes we’re going to purchase over there, where we just were. After we leave there, you’re going to drive your car while they drive their car. We’re all going to meet up at the boat parking like we were discussing earlier. And off you went to have a fabulous boat picnic day with your friends. Don’t forget your new boat shoes and sunscreen too! The End.
Now, I am absolutely not an English major. I most often write how I speak which is a linguistic nightmare and all wrong in all the wrong ways. However, I do know a couple things and you should note the appropriate usage of all the “theres”, the “wheres”, the “tos” and the “yous”. Read the story of you. Then reread it and take notes. Update your meme game accordingly and boost that quality content so we can steal it or repost it or whatever. Polish up those social media comments and attack them with the appropriate words. All that ‘your a idiot two’ isn’t a good look. This lesson in the back-asswards English language has been brought to you by - every single person who cringes when they try and mindless scroll social media. Thanks for coming to story time today! Don't forget to check us out on Facebook here and go take a peak at our new shop - Officially Ducking Bullship and wear your Bullship out loud.
OK, also, YOUR command of the English language and grammar shows that YOU'RE an intelligent and learned person. Makes me long for the days of YORE. 😆
Yes. Just yes. 😉
